Martin has worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years, initially for the Britannic Assurance where he was recognized as one of their top advisers in the 1980’s and 1990’s. Martin then set up his own practice as an Independent Financial Adviser which he subsequently sold in 2010. Since then he has worked for some of the industry’s largest names as in AXA, St James Place and Mortgage Advice Bureau and has since, built a Practice that prides itself on trying to help clients of all types.

As well as holding the Diploma in Personal Financial Planning, Martin holds the Mortgage Advice Qualification of the Chartered Insurance Institute along with being a Member of the National Association of Estate Agents. Not only does Martin specialise in Mortgage Advice for straight forward cases he also deals with the more complicated cases where clients have found that their credit history to be less than perfect. Over the last 30 years he has built up a good working relationship with lenders and has the knowledge and experience to place the more complicated cases so that our customers are able to purchase the property of their dreams!

In his role as a Financial Adviser he specialises in all forms of Investment and Pension planning along with estate planning and protection for both private individuals and corporate clients. He is primarily responsible for designing the wealth management strategy for these clients and ensuring its implementation through face to face meetings.

There may be a fee for mortgage advice. A fee of £295 when you apply for the mortgage. We will also receive commission from the lender, OR, A fee of 0.35% of the mortgage amount, with a minimum of £295, payable when you apply for the mortgage. We will refund commission received from the lender to you. An example of this is if your mortgage is £150,000 the fee payable will be £525. For insurance we usually offer products from a limited panel of providers.
