Neil Bartrop - Director/Valuer

Bartrop & Dilks Team

Having learned the trade working for a William H Brown and then for David Hawke Property Services some 18 years ago, up until Bartrop and Dilks was formed in 2008, Neil had been working for Haybrook Property Services in South Yorkshire. He has established himself as a Professional Estate Agent and prides himself on giving excellent customer service to all clients. When he joined Haybrook, South Yorkshires Largest Estate Agent as a Residential Valuer in 2000, he was promoted after 9 months to Regional Sales Manager and held that role for 3 years before again being promoted to Residential Sales Director. He is proud to say that when he carried out that role he achieved year after year record residential sales for the company. As director, Neil’s role is to oversee the general running of Bartrop and Dilks Ltd and to make sure service standards are adhered too and new instructions are achieved are the correct price.

Nicola - Hew Homes Manager/Vendor Customer Care

nicolaNicola has been with the company from Day 1 but more recently has been on maternity leave where she has spent time being a mum. She now rejoins the business taking up a new role as New Homes Manager & Vendor Customer Care. With Worksop and surrounding areas about to change over coming years, the business acknowledges the need for expertise in the New Homes field with Nicola providing this. Nicola prides herself on the unique service we are able to offer builders and clients alike. She is fully aware that as part of the new homes sector, builders have specific business needs with so much depending on timescales to ensure quick and successful sales happen. She deals direct with builders for off plan or build complete sales and part exchange properties / assisted sales. Having been in the industry over 12 years, she brings with her a wealth of experience to business and is warmly welcomed back. An additional part to Nicola’s job is Vendor Customer Service, she will provide weekly updates and marketing plans to all vendors until that successful sale is achieved.

Sarah - Residential Sales Manager

Sarah has a wealth of experience working within the Housing Industry. She started her career with Reeds Rains 17 years ago and has gained a wealth of knowledge working for both Corporate and Independent agents. Sarah joins the team as Residential Sales Manager and will be working closely with Neil in the running of Bartrop and Dilks and alongside the sales team to offer support to ensure excellent service is provided to all our customers and that all sales transactions are progressed efficiently.

Kara - Senior Sales Negotiator

Kara joined the company from a long standing Estate Agency role in Mansfield and brings with her an abundance of experience and knowledge of the industry.  Living in Worksop for many years her role is Senior Sales Negotiator, she will be supporting Sarah to ensure excellent customer service relationships are maintained with both Vendors and Purchasers. She looks after vendors from start to finish, ensuring all are fully updated. She demonstrates excellent negotiating skills and will work with vendors to achieve the best possible selling price then ensuring the sales transaction is made easy and enjoyable.

Glenis - Administration

Glenis has been with the company since 2009 and recently gained promotion to our ‘Accompanied Viewer’. She will meet prospective buyers at properties at times to suit the client. She demonstrates excellent selling skills and vendors need not worry about inexperienced staff selling your home. She is fully knowledgeable about all properties she visits.

Lee - Lettings Director

leeSince passing financial management exams in the early nineties, Lee has become an exceptional accountant who is always looking to manage strategy whilst at the same time remaining commercially aware. He has many spent many years managing teams looking after both residential and commercial properties in Nottinghamshire and his in depth understanding of the lettings industry gives him great confidence in the high level of service that Bartrop and Dilks can offer. Lee has a flair for creativity and prides himself on technical ability, resilience and integrity and ensures the company continually meet its obligations with regards to statutory lettings legislation.

Jeanette - Lettings Manager

With a 20 year track record within customer service, business management, negotiating and high level sales, Jeanette brings a wealth of experience having worked alongside some of the world’s largest brands and agencies. She is continually updating her skills and recently attained membership of the Chartered Institute of Management. Jeanette is from a strong sales and customer service background and her attention to detail and passion for the customer means she offers an unrivalled service and a strong determination to succeed.  She is proactive, highly motivated and an extremely professional Lettings Manager who landlords and tenants can rely on to guide them through all aspects of the letting and renting industry.

Alanya - Lettings Advisor

alanyaHaving started with us as an apprentice on our lettings team Alanya very quickly developed a passion for the industry, she passed her exams and is now a Lettings Advisor working across all areas of the lettings process. She is a highly energetic and determined individual who is committed to ensuring our lettings team continue to deliver a first class service to both our landlords and tenants. With a keen eye for detail Alanya’s main role is to make sure our landlords and tenants are matched to the right property first time and everyone is communicated to effectively through the process.

Chris - Lettings Advisor

alanyaChris has joined our team as a Lettings Advisor, he has a wealth of experience in the lettings industry having spent 8 years working in the social housing sector. Worksop born and bred Chris has an excellent grasp on local knowledge and is on hand to give advice and support across all aspects of the lettings process. Chris’s main focus is to make sure the lettings applications run smoothly by providing excellent customer service to both our landlords and tenants ensuring all customers are guided through the process to receive a professional hassle free service.

Beata - Lettings Advisor

beateBeata (Beti) joined us in 2016, having graduated from university with a Masters Degree in Economics. Beata spent the next 15 years working across sales and customer service in Poland before moving to Worksop in 2010. During her time here, Beata has worked in all aspects of the letting industry bringing with her a wealth of knowledge especially in the management of HMO’s. Beata is highly motivated, hardworking and provides dedication to both landlords and tenants. Beata’s language skills are invaluable in making sure everyone we work with is clearly communicated to and understood.

Martin Hatton - Financial Planner

Martin has worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years, initially for the Britannic Assurance where he was recognized as one of their top advisers in the 1980’s and 1990’s. Martin then set up his own practice as an Independent Financial Adviser which he subsequently sold in 2010. Since then he has worked for some of the industry’s largest names as in AXA, St James Place and Mortgage Advice Bureau and has since, built a Practice that prides itself on trying to help clients of all types.

As well as holding the Diploma in Personal Financial Planning, Martin holds the Mortgage Advice Qualification of the Chartered Insurance Institute along with being a Member of the National Association of Estate Agents. Not only does Martin specialise in Mortgage Advice for straight forward cases he also deals with the more complicated cases where clients have found that their credit history to be less than perfect. Over the last 30 years he has built up a good working relationship with lenders and has the knowledge and experience to place the more complicated cases so that our customers are able to purchase the property of their dreams!

In his role as a Financial Adviser he specialises in all forms of Investment and Pension planning along with estate planning and protection for both private individuals and corporate clients. He is primarily responsible for designing the wealth management strategy for these clients and ensuring its implementation through face to face meetings.
